About This Course
A gas producer, or a company it hosts, wants to put natural-gas generators on an energy site to power computers, a data centre or its own equipment. This course follows a licensed agent's own regulatory road map and her method of asking each regulator in writing, then brings every conclusion up to today's rules: the AUC route by plant size, neighbour notification and noise, the environmental approval and engine emissions, the AER facility licence amendment, gas use, connecting to the grid and selling surplus power, and the rules that apply as projects grow. This topic changes often, so the course shows where to check each item.
It is for practising Alberta surface land agents, regulatory and land administrators, and project coordinators. It is designed as continuing-competence learning for Alberta land agents, at an intermediate level rather than entry-level training.
What you will learn
